Raleigh Rental Terms & Conditions

RENTAL PERIOD
The rental period is a minimum of four consecutive days. The renter is responsible for returning the rental unit on the contracted return date otherwise the renter may be charged 1 1/2 times the daily rate for each day the rental unit is late. Please contact the Rental Manager if you are going to be delayed. No vehicle will be scheduled for pick-up on Saturday or Sunday.  Absolutely no returns will be accepted on Sunday.

NO SAME DAY RENTALS
The Patriot Act prohibits any same day rentals.

RESERVATION / SECURITY / HOLDING DEPOSIT
A $600.00 deposit is required for all motor homes and a $300.00 deposit is required for all folding trailers. Your deposit is refundable within 14 days of returning the rental unit dependant upon its condition including: cleaned inside and out, filled gas and propane tanks, and emptied black and gray holding tanks. The rental unit needs to be returned in the same condition as it left the dealership; otherwise, you may forfeit a portion or all of your deposit no questions asked.

INSURANCE
Rental insurance is automatically included on all motor home rentals through MBA Insurance.  Your Reservation / Security / Holding Deposit also serves as your insurance deductable.

PAYMENT
All fees are payable by cash, certified bank check, personal check, travelers checks, or a major credit card (Master Card, Visa, Discover, or American Express). Full payment is due on day of departure including balance of rental fee, estimated mileage charge, insurance, etc. Fees are subject to a State Sales Tax of 8%. Unused pre-paid mileage is non-refundable.

PICK-UP APPOINTMENTS
Rentals are scheduled on an hourly basis for pick-up. If you fail to be on time for your delivery and do not call in advance to reschedule, you will be charged $50.00 for your missed appointment.

FAMILIARIZATION TOUR / DEMO
A tour / demo will be given to all renters to familiarize them with the various operations of the rental unit at time of departure. This will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes. If necessary, a more convenient time can be scheduled. This is the time to ask questions and make absolutely certain you understand how to use what you're renting. This can save you time and money. If you have any questions after you leave the dealership, please do not hesitate to contact the Rental Manager with your questions.

PET CHARGE
A limited type of pets are allowed and required a $100.00 non-refundable charge per pet.  Please check with the Rental Manager if you're planning on taking your pet.  No cats are allowed.

NO SMOKING
Due to the various health implications, smoking is not permitted in any rental units. If there's evidence of smoking in the rental unit upon returning, your full deposit ($600.00 or $300.00 which ever is applicable) will be forfeited.

CANCELLATION FEES
A minimum of 14 days notice is required to cancel your reservation in order to receive a full refund of you $600.00 / $300.00 deposit (which ever is applicable). For cancellations 3 days or less, your deposit will transfer into a holding file to use towards a future rental within one year.
